ABOUT STYX It’s no coincidence that Styx the Tree Kangaroo is as colourful as a pinata. Styx has a magical candy pouch, making her the most popular guest at parties. The joeys gather around her, their little paws reaching as they bounce and squeak with excitement. Styx dips into her pouch, handing out lollipops, gummies and chocolates to the delighted joeys. Every hop is full of glee, as they follow her from branch to branch, giggling and munching. ABOUT THE PATTERN This pattern uses eyelash fur yarn for crocheting a soft and cuddly, life-sized tree kangaroo. **You can use any type of fur yarn for this project.** The pattern contains information on selecting yarn and pairing it with a suitable hook. See the Yarn Substitution Table included with the pattern for additional info. Crocheting and sewing with fur yarn might be more challenging than regular yarn, but the advantage is that fur hides mistakes very well, so perfection isn’t vital. PATTERN INFO Yarn Weight: Double knit(DK), which is the equivalent to yarn weight 3, light worsted, 8 ply or 11 wpi. Fur yarn, which is the equivalent to yarn weight 5 or bulky.
