*I designed this pattern as part of the 2024 Christmas Mystery Box. It was the first time I had ever released a pattern in this way. For a week, each day we knitted a clue and shared the experience along with movies, recipes, and anecdotes. I created it specifically as a pattern for getting started with colorwork, using two and three strands. It’s a perfect beginner project because the repeats are short, and the project itself is small and quick to knit. And although some rounds use three colors at the same time, that only adds a bit of excitement, and it gently introduces knitting with three strands.* **SIZES** 1 (2, 3) **Circumference:** 42 (51, 60) cm / 16.5 (19.5, 23.5)” – It is recommended to choose a size with a negative ease of 2.5–5 cm / 1–2”. **Height:** 20 (22.5, 25) cm / 8 (8.75, 10)”.
