Stafford Scarf

This vintage inspired keyhole scarf is an utter joy to knit from start to finish, and is written for **four different yarn weights:** fingering, sport, DK, and worsted! Named after one of my favorite ladies of song, Jo Stafford, the Stafford Scarf is the perfect palette cleanser / gift knit / stash buster / one skein project. It uses the keyhole construction method - beloved by vintage and modern knitters alike - that creates an opening to thread the opposite end of the scarf through it so that you're all tucked up and cozy around the neck. Stafford utilizes a unique yet easy-to-follow textured lace stitch to create the bottom sweetheart edge, and later a picot edging is worked around the perimeter of the scarf for that special decorative detail!
