Ava Jacket is an oversized jacket with patterned details, inspired by Marianne Isager’s design Avis, originally published in the 1980s. The fit draws clear references to the decade’s characteristic silhouettes. The shoulder is constructed with a slightly set-back shoulder seam to ensure a well-fitting shape. Carefully placed increases and decreases along the neckline and sleeves, together with the contrasting line running across the back and sleeves, create a distinct and eye-catching expression. The sleeves have extra width at the top and taper elegantly towards the wrist. Ava Jacket is worked from the top down.
