River Stone Beanie

The River Stone Beanie crochet pattern uses a wonderful textured crochet stitch called the slip stitch cluster stitch pattern. This particular crochet hat pattern is sized to fit an adult head, however I will provide some instruction in the pattern notes should you wish to change the size. It is worked from the bottom up which is my favourite way to crochet a hat. It gives it a lovely shape! You will begin by working the brim of the hat in rows. I prefer to work my hat brims with slip stitches, but you may wish to use single crochet or half double crochet instead. Next, once the brim is complete you will continue into the body of the hat which is worked in rounds. Here you will primarily work slip stitch clusters. The texture will be worked throughout the hat to the top where you may add an optional pompom. This crochet pattern is available in English only and written using American crochet terms.
