28-page-long, thorough PDF with graphs for every size and visual references.
The pattern includes options to customize the blouse in visual details and in measurements. Sized for XS, S, M, and L. Also provides three different-sized short-sleeve options for varying silhouettes.
A soft, delicate, and feminine top designed with a beautifully sculpted silhouette. This fitted tee features a deep, curved neckline and gentle bust shaping that creates a flattering, contoured fit across the chest. The upper bodice is worked in smooth stockinette, transitioning into a ribbed, body-hugging torso that stretches comfortably and highlights the natural shape of the garment.
Short sleeves include subtle lace-edged details, and the front neckline is finished with a small button placket for customization — wear it fully buttoned, slightly open, or styled with ribbon ties for a more romantic look. The pattern also includes optional contrast color accents or a clean minimalist version, as shown in the sample photos.
Yarn:
Main Rib Body: Two ends of ITO sensei 60% Mohair 40% Silk is preferred if you can find it! It is the softest and smooth option I've found in knitting these for a while I believe due to the higher silk content in comparison to other similar yarns. Isager’s Silk Mohair also works.
Main Bust Body: Two ends of Isager alpaca 1, or two ends of any similar lace weight yarn as well as 1 end of the body mohair. 2 skeins is just barely enough for an XS, however you may need 3-6 skeins depending on your size.
Contrast Yarn (optional striping on shoulders): [Any color in the same amount of ends of your same weight of body yarn and mohair/silk]
Needles & hooks:
US 4 (3.5 mm) circulars, 24 in (60 cm) or longer — cast on, first inch of rib, sleeves, and bust body
US 3 (3.25 mm) circulars, 24 in (60 cm) or longer — rib body length
Steel crochet hook ≈ 1.75–1.9 mm (vintage “size 5” steel). (Modern “F/5 (3.75 mm)” is not equivalent; choose ~1.8 mm.)
Misc tools:
Elastic thread (recommended for those looking for more under-bust support in their piece)
Stitch markers
Stitch holders or waste yarn
Tapestry needle
Buttons #1 (4–6, of your choice or also available from my personal stash of antiques for purchase in packs on my website) for #2 I use 16-20 buttons depending on size/ length of ribbing.
Optional: contrast ribbon or cord for under-bust casing
