Nid Mittens

Nid Mittens feature a slightly tight cable knit pattern that keeps your hands warm. Brighten up your winter mood with a charming yet sophisticated design. They also make a lovely gift. They start with the ribbing on the cuff, then the body of the mitten is knit. Next, the thumb is separated from the main body and both parts are knit to the tips. **Sizes** 1 (2) *The two sizes have the same circumference; only their lengths differ. **Finished Measurements** 23.5 cm / 9 1⁄2” circumference 27 (29.5) cm / 10 1⁄2 (11 1⁄2)” total length The sample is size 1. **Needles** 4 mm (US 6) 80 cm / 32” circular (if using the magic loop technique) or double-pointed needles 3.5 mm (US 4) 80 cm / 32” circular (if using the magic loop technique) or double-pointed needles **Gauge** 24 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm / 4” in **Honeycomb pattern** with 4 mm (US 6) needle (after wet blocking) 21 sts and 34 rows = 10 cm / 4” in **Seed stich pattern** with 4 mm (US 6) needle (after wet blocking) *Make sure to knit a swatch to check your gauge.
