Vilja socks

Vilja socks are lovely socks, knitted toe up, with a mixture of an easy lace and ribbing and interesting reinforced french heel. 1 basic size – ideal for the circumference app. 20-21 cm. Lenght is adjustable. You can achieve the different size with another yarn, or changing size of the needles. Gauge: 30 sts / 10 cm in stockinette stitch Needles: the socks are worked on circular needles - 2,5 mm needles for the main part of the sock (choose the needle size that gets you closer to the gauge or the size you want.) - 2,25 mm needles (or smaller needles) for the cuff Yarn: Kalevalanka Basic Sock or any other 4 ply or sock yarn. I recommend solid or semi-solid colors. Total yardage: 270-290 m Notions: sewing needle for weaving in ends, stitch markers and blocking tools if you wish
