Ashlee's 2026 Block - Butterflies

This year’s large square has butterflies in the corners (see more Yearly Blocks at [https://ashleeslint.com/2022/11/13/ashlees-yearly-blocks/][1]). **You will receive two files:** - One file for the interlocking crochet technique: full written pattern for right- and left-handed crocheters, 1-page and 4-page charts (81 x 81) - One file for the overlay mosaic crochet technique: full written pattern for right- and left-handed crocheters, 1-page and 4-page x-marked charts (77 x 77) ______ The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern. [YouTube Tutorials][2] Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color's single crochet stitches to create the design.
