Big Betty Cowl

Meet the Big Betty Cowl. This design was inspired by a Knitting Place customer who asked me to create a design inspired by a beloved vintage piece she had in her wardrobe. Hence the name Betty. The scarf is designed to be knit in a 2 x 2 broken rib stitch, which gives it a wonderful texture and lofty look. I hope you enjoy making this fun and fabulous knit. **Materials** **Yarn:** 1 skein of Malabrigo Rasta Yarn, 100% Merino Wool, 90yds (82m)/150g (5.29oz), Super Bulky. Sample shown in color “Whole Grain”. **Needles & Notions** US 17 (12 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge straight or circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) Tapestry needle for seaming and weaving in ends Small Scissors Pom Pom - 4"/10 cm diameter **Gauge** 2 sts = 1”/ 2.5 cm in stockinette stitch **Finished Dimensions** Width: 4"/ 10 cm Length: 42" / 107 cm
