Charlie's Brown Hat

For the 2 winters that we have been neighbors, he shoveled the sidewalk right in front of our house and that of other immediate neighbors'. My husband suggested that I knit him a hat as a thank you, but of course me being me, I had to design one just for Charlie! Coincidentally, one of the colorways of a lovely squishy yarn that my employer Biscotte Yarns carry is named Charlie. It is a variegated yarn mostly in brown, and it is the perfect yarn for a masculine hat that has both form and function, looking dapper while keeping warm.
