On a recent trip, I made it a point to leave some larger work at home and wound up a jumbo skein of fingering weight yarn for the occasion. The resulting design is **OUT OF OFFICE**, a shawl-like scarf (or scarf-like shawl?) designed for fingering weight yarn. The reversible textured pattern is intuitive to follow, and the resulting piece makes great use of a special skein. Directions are provided for 3 sizes. A mini scarf can be completed with 50 g of fingering weight yarn. The medium size is designed for a 100 g skein of yarn, and the large size is designed for a jumbo 150 g skein.
