Stellar cardigan

The Stellar is a classic cardigan with flattering set in sleeves that works up quickly in snuggly Yarnsmiths Merino DK. This yarn is on the thicker end of the DK spectrum, which gives the cardigan its nice lofty structure, so its worth bearing that in mind when choosing a substitute yarn. The Stellar is a top down cardigan with the simplicity and sophistication of a bottom up. She's worked from the shoulders down, and the set in sleeves are grafted on using a new seamless method which I designed especially for her. There are captioned video tutorials linked throughout the pattern to help you out and it comes with plenty of clear and helpful step photos. She has 12cm of positive ease, for a more jacket style fit. If you are between sizes you can choose to size down for a more snug fit with 7cm ease (see Fuschia pink version) or size up for 17cm ease and a more oversized look (see Khaki version). Being top down the length is easily adjustable, so try making it oversized and cropped for extra sass! Available in UK and US crochet terms in 8 sizes from XS to 4XL.
