Charming Cosmos Flower

**Link given inside the PDF to the full video tutorial on Youtube.** *This little beauty is a collaboration between Daffodil Road Yarn & Crochet Road.* Shades from the Jane Austen Collection by Daffodil Road Yarn were used to create the perfect pink crochet flower. These versatile and very pretty flowers only use a small amount of yarn per flower (20m total if you’re using fingering weight), and are quick to work up. You could use these to decorate a favourite handbag or project bag. Or string a number of flowers together for a floral garland, make a bunch to decorate a room in your home, or brighten up a wall, mirror or window frame! They’d also make fabulous gift toppers, clothing appliqués or brooches - what other ideas can you think of? **Materials** * Yarn Used for samples: Daffodil Road Yarn; Ultra Soft Sock; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon; 100g/3.5oz; 400m/437yds; Super Fine #1 Fingering weight (4 ply) (Top photo - Shades from Jane Austen Collection: Kitty, Brighton, Jane Bennett, Jane Fairfax & Longbourn) * Yardage: 20m total (5g) Colour A: 2m Colour B: 14m Colour C: 3.5m * You will also need: Yarn needle Stitch marker Scissors * Hook size: 3mm (US C-2/ D-3) with hand dyed, fingering weight merino/nylon 3.5mm (US E-4) with Must - Have, sport weight cotton * Finished Size: 9cm across with hand dyed fingering weight yarn 11cm across with cotton sport weight yarn (An older version of this pattern was available to a small number of people as part of Crate Crochet's Subscription Box in 2019.
