Note that Swan and Clementine are [available in cones][3] (760 yds; 400 g). This may be a good choice if you plan to make several items as the cones are a little cheaper than the same amount of yarn in skeins. Yardage: 37 yds Swan, 72 yds Clementine Twist, 44 yds Clementine [Crochet Hook: J (6 mm)][4], or size needed to match gauge. Notions: [Tapestry needle][5] Gauge: 14 sts x 16 rows = 4 inches in Gingham Stitch Pattern. To check gauge use the Gingham Stitch Pattern to make a swatch with 2 columns of 2 squares each.
