Kids & Dolls Ruffled Witch Hats

I decided to make witch hats to match my grands’ ponchos for Halloween this year. I wanted a cutsier ruffled version of the floppy ones I made last year. Well, the patterns I found all had meh ruffles. And why were they made flat with tiny sc’s and then seamed up the back??? Pass…I am way too lazy for all that! As usual, I had to come up with my own. This very ruffled hat was so fun to create, and the doll hat (which was an incredibly happy accident) would also make a great table decoration for parties! This hat will fit most toddlers and kids! And the doll hat fits all 18 inch dolls like My Life, Our Generation and AG If I’m being honest, this hat would also be great for colorful clown costumes! Especially the doll-sized hat attached to a headband This is definitely a beginner friendly pattern. I’ve included photo tutorials for the super simple special stitches (FLO dc & Invisible Join).
