It is worked seamlessly from the top down, allowing you to adjust body length and sleeve length on the go, as well as making it easy to lengthen both body and sleeves afterwards in case your loved ones grow faster than you knit ;) Knitting starts with a provisional cast-on for the neck, this makes it easy to adjust the neck width to match the recipients liking. The yoke is then worked in the round to sleeve separation. Increases are worked into the colorwork part of the yoke, followed by some short rows (to raise the back) and some raglan increases for the lower part of the yoke. Sleeve stitches are placed on hold to work the body top down to the hem. The sleeves are worked top down in rounds to the cuffs. Neck ribbing is worked last. The pattern includes optional instructions for doubled hem, cuffs and neck ribbing. The sample shows all ribbing (neck, hem, cuffs) folded in (doubled). There are two fish motifs to choose from, one with the fish swimming downwards and one with the fish swimming upwards.
