SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) MATERIALS Yarn 1000 (1100, 1250, 1375, 1500, 1650, 1800) y/ 915 (1005 (1140, 1255, 1370, 1510, 1645) m Heavy Worsted or Aran weight yarn. Shown here in Catskill Merino Worsted (100% Saxon Merino; 140 y [127 m]/57g): “Cherrywood” 8 (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13) skeins. Needles US 8/5mm or size to obtain gauge, 24-32”/60-80 cm circular for body, 16"/40 cm needle for upper yoke, and 4 double pointed needles (DPN) for sleeves. US 6/4mm or 2 sizes smaller than gauge needle, 24-32”/60-80cm circular for hem, and 4 double pointed needles for sleeve cuff US 5/3.75 or 3 sizes smaller than gauge needle, 16”/40 cm circular needle for collar Substitute your preferred needles for knitting a small circumference for the DPN Notions 3 stitch markers: 1 for BOR, 2 for the short row neck shaping. Stitch holders or waste yarn for holding the sleeve stitches. A tapestry needle for weaving in ends. GAUGE 16 stitches and 24 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles. NOTES The pullover is worked from the top down in the round. The yoke is worked in a knit/purl texture stitch pattern. Instructions for knitting the yoke are both written and charted. Sample shown in size 3, worn with 12” of positive ease. Please choose the amount of ease that suits you; you may want to add a bit of length to the body and sleeves if you prefer less ease. Plan your yarn purchases accordingly. The pattern uses the wrap and turn method of short rows for neck shaping, you may substitute any method of short row that you prefer.
