Tilde Scarf

A ~wavy~ graphic take on a narrow scarf that highlights the self-striping yarn with sculptural ripple tiers in a rhythmic Old Shale stitch variation. It’s worked from the bottom up, starting with a small number of stitches at the center and expanding outward in tiers. This is done using the Cable cast on method for clean, stable edges. The pattern features a variation of the classic Old Shale stitch, with all increases and decreases grouped in one row, creating sculptural waves.
