When I’m not knitting, you will often find me waiting for a stick of butter to reach room temperature. This colorwork sock was inspired by my love of baking. It features a simple colorwork chart and a texture pattern meant to emulate the ridge of a knife in butter. This pattern is recommended for intermediate knitters. This cuff-down sock features stranded colorwork and ladderback jacquard for float management (sizes M & L). **GAUGE & SIZING** Sizing: Small(Medium, Large) for Foot Circumference 8-9”(9-10”, 10-11” There are long floats in sizes M & L, which may cause tighter knitters to need to go up an additional needle size for the best fit. **INGREDIENTS** Fingering weight sock yarn in MC and CC. My sample used 47g and 13g, respectively, for a size 9 women's pair. For the sample, I used locally hand-dyed yarn in Electrum from Luminous Brooklyn and Cornflower from Greenwood Fiberworks For more affordable butter yellow alternatives, I recommend - Lang jawoll in 43 Buttermilk - Cascade Heritage in 5644 Lemon Needles in: - US 1/2.25mm US 1.5/2.5mm US 2/2.75mm (recommended for very tight knitters) 3 stitch markers Darning needle
