3D Opossum Scarf

Available in my Etsy store. Create your very own fluffy opossum scarf/cowl. Designed to be just the right size to sit around your neck, fastening to itself with buttons, your opossum friend will keep you cosy through the colder months. With a small pouch at the end of the scarf for holding an easy-access tissue or small handwarmer (following all safety instructions on the handwarmer), your opossum is not only cute, she's practical! This 17-page pattern is complete with a list of all the materials and tools you'll need, notes on the stitches and abbreviations, and full-colour pictures for the trickier parts of construction. The pattern also includes footnotes to help you with extending the scarf or adding an additional pouch. Written using standard US crochet terminology. Yarn required: * About 70m aran white or cream yarn * About 50m aran pink yarn * About 15m aran black yarn * 100m super chunky faux fur yarn (3 skeins of Sirdar Alpine) My tension is quite tight overall, so if you find your opossum works up too large for your liking, you may want to move to a slightly smaller hook.
