Anabelle Scarf

*Pattern updated on 17/10/25 with some minor corrections* The Anabelle Scarf is a delicate triangular shaped scarf that combines a lovely intricate lace pattern surrounded by simple cables and garter stitch on one side. The lace pattern and cables run along the longest side of the scarf. Increases are made on the right side of the tip of the scarf until the desired width before decreasing back to the other tip of the scarf. The pattern includes both written instructions and charts for you to choose from. **Size / Dimensions**: One size. The scarf measures approximately 116 cm (45.7 inches) long and 29.5 cm (12 inches) wide. It is possible to make the scarf longer/bigger by making more increase and decrease repeats. You will find explanations on how to do this in the pattern. **Yarn estimate**: About 350 m of fingering weight yarn. Sample is knit with Isager Alpaca 2 (50g = 250 m / 273 yards) in colour E6S. If you want to make the scarf longer you will need more yarn. **Needles**: 3.5 mm needles (US 4). **Gauge**: 30 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm (4") in pattern repeat after blocking. **Materials needed**: * 3.5 mm needles (US 4) * 3 stitch markers * Cable needle or DPNs (optional if you prefer making the cables without a cable needle) * Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends
