I grew up in a brick house and went to school in buildings made out of brick, so back to school time in the fall always had a high association with the earthy colors of the brick. I love having variety when it comes to sock patterns. For this pattern, I created textured bricks that are easy to memorize and easy to knit. Then to make the socks even more fun, I decided to use each contrast color for one of the cuffs, heels, or toes, and I love the result.
