Just a Dreamer

Just two skeins of worsted > weight yarn and > a few evenings of knitting is what > this scarf takes. Just a Dreamer is a two-colour scarf combining mosaic knitting with garter and broken rib. It starts with a narrow end worked in one colour, is increased to its full width, a longer mosaic section transitions the colour for the second end that is again decreased to a narrow point. If you use a precision scale, you can maximise the use of your yarn with the tips in the pattern. The English pattern contains both charted and written instructions for the mosaic pattern, Finnish is only charted. **Size:** One size, medium. Length is easily adjustable. Sample is shown with the following measurements: *Length = 77” / 196 cm Width = 10” / 25 cm* **Yarn:** Neulojan Sohvilla Lämpö Worsted (100 % Finnish wool, 200 m / 100 g). Shown in colours Luonnonmusta (C1) and Pellava (C2). 1 skein of each. **Yardage:** C1: 220 yards / 200 meters. C2: 220 yards / 200 meters. **Needle:** 5 mm (US 8) - 40” / 100 cm circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge. **Gauge:** 19 sts x 36 rows = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in mosaic knitting worked flat (after blocking). **Others:** stitch markers, tapestry needle, precision scale (optional).
