Penumbral is worked sideways, using short rows for shaping and creation of the pattern. Leaves are encased by line and shadow, alternating around the Hat. Worked in DK weight yarn the Hat can easily be adjusted for a range of sizes by changing needle size, gauge or yarn. Featuring short-row colourwork, each of the Folineal Hats is knit sideways and grafted. This pattern is available individually, or as part of the Folineal collection **Hat Description** Penumbral is a sideways knit gently slouchy Hat. It uses short row colourwork to create a motif of organic forms and lines within one panel, which is then repeated all around the Hat. The sideways nature of this design creates a great deal of stretch, so do consider the negative ease.
