Bhageshri Top

The Bhageshri Crop Top is a very beautiful and elegant looking textured blouse which can be paired with pretty much any kind of clothing. It has been primarily designed to be worn as a blouse with a saree but can also be mixed and matched with a maxi/midi skirt, jeans, shorts and even paired with trousers and blazers/jackets. The fabric is crocheted in a combination of post stitches in the lower body and a beautiful lace open work stitches in the upper body with a very simple lace edging around the armholes with button opening at the back. Skill level: Confident Beginner to Intermediate Sizing: This pattern is available in 6 different sizes ranging from XS (for bust 32”) to 2XL(for bust 42”). It can easily be scaled up or down for other sizes too. The top is fitted hence has no ease. Materials required: 500 - 1400 meters of any of any lace weight yarn preferably in 100% cotton. 2.5 mm crochet hook (or hook to obtain gauge) Tapestry needle & scissors stitch markers buttons Construction: The Top is worked flat back and forth with simple Weave Stitch rows (post stitches) and V stitch rows(Double crochet & chain stitches) as 3 different panels (Front, Back x 2 and Ties x 2).Finally, finished with the collar and armhole edging. Gauge: 10cm/4” square = 26 stitches wide x 15 rows tall in double crochet
