Mimbre hat

The Mimbre hat is knit bottom up and in the round. It uses purled and slipped stitches to create a cozy texture that reminds us of a weaved basket. The round repetition is easy to memorize and it’s perfect for last minute gifts and artisan markets as it is very quick to make. The pattern is written in US standard terms and includes instructions for 2 sizes in 3 different yarn weights: super bulky, bulky, and worsted. It also includes instructions to use scrap yarn of different colors. It is recommended for beginner knitters. SUGGESTED YARN: Super bulky (6): Malabrigo Rasta, Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick Bulky (5): Malabrigo Chunky and PHG Piuma Worsted (4): Lion Brand Wool Ease Or any other yarn that matches gauge. La utilización de puntos del revés y deslizados crea una textura en relieve que recuerda a las cestas de mimbre. La repetición de estos puntos hace que sea fácil de memorizar y tejer. Este proyecto es perfecto para regalos de última hora y mercados artesanales. El patrón incluye instrucciones para dos tallas y tres grosores de lana diferentes.
