Get that bin of scraps out and make yourself a beautiful new sweater - without spending a dime on supplies! This pattern is super fun to work, but also easy for inexperienced colorwork knitters - the floats are never longer than 3 stitches, and only 2 colors are ever worked at the same time. Scrappy Yoke Sweater is worked from the top down, in the round, seamlessly. The short collar is casted on and knitted before a few short rows are worked to shape the back neck. Yoke increases are worked mostly on one-color rounds (another plus for colorwork beginners!) and separating for sleeves is - as well, worked in one color stockinette. The lower body continues with the colorwork motif, after which the sleeves are worked. Choose between short sleeves, long straight sleeves (with just a few decreases at the upper arm) or taper your sleeves all the way to the cuff for a more fitted look. So many options, and that’s before you even get to choosing the colors! The pattern is written for use with 4 colors - as the sample shows. But, you can use as many colors as you’d like!
