The Cowl of the Underworld was designed in celebration of the 2025 Salem [Fiber Witch Festival][1] theme: The Coronation of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld. In the myth of Persephone, she becomes Queen of the Underworld after consuming pomegranate seeds while visiting the Underworld. The design features elegant filigrees, moon phases, and pomegranates, and is knit up in the colorways created for the Festival: Toil & Trouble Cadence DK in Fruit of the Underworld and Crossing the Threshold.
