Calypso Cowl

From the moment I saw the Strange & Unusual palette created by **LolaBean Yarn Co.**, I just knew I needed to come up with a design to match its clever and whimsical vibe, which was inspired by the movie, Beetlejuice. The **Calypso Cowl**, which drew its name inspiration from that iconic song at the end, features a stranded colorwork section of plaid (a nod to the shirt worn by one of the main characters throughout the movie) followed by a stockinette section in mauve (remember that spray paint on the wall?). Before seamlessly grafting together the ends, you’ll give it a twist. **LolaBean’s** color palette makes this cowl so versatile, but you could totally go full-on Halloween, too, with shades of orange, purple, white, black and green. US 4 (3.5 mm) or size needed to meet stockinette gauge; 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles.
