Ardently Socks

Ardently Socks pattern is inspired by Mr. Darcy's first proposal to Elizabeth Bennett in Jane Audsten's novel Pride and rejudice, where he proclaims "You must allow me to tell you how much I ardently admire and love you". The pattern is knit cuff down with a heel flap and gusset (though you can substitute your favourite heel if you like!) The pattern comes in 3 adult sizes and also has includes options for 3 leg lengths (ankle, crew and long leg) The sock pictured was knit with a long leg. Note that knitting a longer leg will affect the yardage needed. The right and left sock mirror each other and there are separate instructions for the right sock and the left sock.
