This companion pattern to Starry Christmas focuses on the six decorative square motifs that make up the border of the main design. Overlay mosaic crochet or Interlocking filet crochet with diagonal stitches Skill level: Advanced ✨ Each motif can be worked bottom-up or in the round from the center. ✨ Each motif is 23 x 23 stitches, but you can easily adjust them to 21 x 21 by skipping the last round, or the first and last rows and edge stitches if you're working bottom up. ✨ Combine all six squares to create your own blanket or shawl in almost any size. ✨ Perfect for experimenting with colors and layouts – the motifs are beautiful even on their own! ✨ Yardage for one motif (sport weight yarn, hook 3.25 – 3.5), approx. 20 m of C1 yarn and 20 m of C2 yarn.
