Ambrosia Cardigan

The Ambrosia Cardigan is a classic 1940s-inspired multicolored striped V-neck cardigan. It has feminine, subtle puffed shoulders, and a vintage, cropped silhouette perfect over highwaist trousers, skirts or dresses. It is worked top down, back and forth, with tailored shoulder-width, and an intended subtle blousing of the body over the waist. If you are between sizes at the bust I recommend you size up. The only reason it is not available in larger sizes is I couldn’t get testers for those sizes, and I don’t want anyone to pay for a pattern that has not been tested. So if you would like to (test)knit this - or any of my patterns! - in a larger size than is currently available, drop me a message and I’ll send you the pattern for free to complete at your leasure. I would appreciate any feedback on the size so I can confidently add the size to the finished pattern. Note on fit on me - I was around 16 weeks pregnant when the photos were taken, and at that point the cardigan was nearing a size too small. This affects the puffed shoulders as well as the intended blousing over the waist. I will take better photos when I am able! (currently post-partum).
