Pinecone cardigan

Kottekoftan (pinecone cardigan) is inspired by the shape and texture of pinecones and has a nordic feel with lots of opportunities for fun color combinations. It's knitted top down in the round and steeked in the front. The cardigan has a little sister, Pinecone cardigan mini, in baby sizes. If you're not experienced with steeking I would recommend using an untreated wool yarn since it will stick together nicely and is less likely to unravel. PLEASE READ: Sizes 8 and 9 are not tested. If you want to knit any of those send me a DM and I'll give you that size for free if you agree to give me some feedback. **Sizes (finished bust circumference):** 33.3, 35.2, 38.6 (41.5, 44.7, 48.4) 52.4, 54.3, 57.3“/84.5, 89.5, 98 (105.5, 113.5, 123) 130.5, 138, 145.5 cm. Recommended 1-4”/2.5-10 cm positive ease. For a tighter fit, choose a size 1-2”/2.5-5 cm larger than your full bust measurement, or 3-4”/8-10 cm larger for a looser fit. **Gauge:** 21 stitches & 25 rows = 4”/10 cm on larger needles. In colorwork in the round after blocking. **Yarn:** Light worsted or DK weight.
