A Very Skellie Sun Dress

What if your Skellie falls off the banister, only to crash to the floor and dislocate her shoulder?Ouch!!! She still needs clothes, right? Well, here’s a cute little sun dress that buttons up and doesn’t require arm movement to donn. So flattering, your Skellie will want to wear it even after recovery. Feel free to substitute a silk/mohair held together with a fingering weight yarn - as long as your gauge is on, you’re good! Worked bottom up, the garter stitch border is knit flat, then joined in the round for the stockinette stitch body, gradually decreasing to create a very flattering A-line. Split at the armholes, bodice is knitted flat, front first, then the back is finished with straps that flip up over the shoulders and button in the front. Ta-da!
