‘Krishna Rakhi’ is my crochet rakhi aka bracelet design inspired by the Indian “God Krishna”. God Krishna is the eighth avatar of God Vishnu in Hinduism. "Raksha Bandhan" is the Indian festival which is approaching soon. It is festival where a sister ties a silk thread on her brothers wrist to symbolically protect him. This rakhi is for my symbolical brother, "God Krishna".
This rakhi represents a part of the beautiful Indian culture to which I belong. The rakhi looks like conch shells attached to each other with rays of beads.
This rakhi is an easy make and only takes a little time to finish. Super easy and a fast project, it’s a perfect stash buster! I've explained the beading instructions used for the earrings on my Youtube channel. The same instructions can be used for this bracelet too.:

**Suggested Yarns**:
You will need approximately 9-10 yards of Fingering weight thread for making the rakhi.

Designs By Mamta Glitter(98% Viscose, 2% Metallic Thread; 5 yards[5m]; CYCA #1): #Space, 2 skeins.
**Gauge**:
24 sc x 24 sc rows on a 2.75mm crochet hook = 4” (10.16 cm)
