Choupette Camisole

A flirty little tank with a frill! It's worked top-down with waist and hip shaping and suggestions on how to customize for your shape. The bottom hem and neckline are finished with a little ruffled edge, the inspiration for the name Choupette, a French pet-name that comes from the word for cabbage. Choose between i-cord spaghetti straps, or wider double-knit straps. ***GAUGE***: 26 st & 36 rows in 4" (10 cm), in stockinette ***SIZES & FIT***: See photos for full sizing chart! Sizes 1; 2; 3 (4; 5; 6) 7; 8; 9 are designed to be worn with 3 - 10” (7.5 - 25 cm) of negative ease at the bust. If you’re between sizes or prefer an extra-tight fit, size down. **Customizing**: If you have a large bust relative to your frame or find your sweaters/tops are too loose at your shoulders or front chest, I recommend choosing a size based on your upper bust measurement and then adding extra increases for your bust. The pattern includes tips on customizing the fit at your bust, waist, and hips. ***YARN***: Berroco Vintage Sock (52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 8% Nylon, 400 m per 100 g), or another fingering-weight yarn. I recommend choosing a yarn with some wool, nylon, or elastic for stretch.
