Maude Book Mark

A quick and easy make. It uses the granny stitch but there is no need to sew prices together, it is all one piece. Make one in every colour, match your bookmark to the book you are reading. Made with 8ply cotton and a 4mm hook. Guage is not important but the thicker the yarn and hook, the bigger your bookmark will be. My samples weighed anywhere from 6g to 9g depending on the yarn used so this would be a great use for scrap or left over yarn. I suggest using a cotton for structure, but I would love to see your makes in any yarn.
