Knit in DK / 8ply weight yarn, Hiker’s Hat is stretchy, warm without bulk, and sized to fit everyone from newborns to large adults. Choose from a clean single brim or a folded double brim for extra warmth around the ears. Hiking Hat is worked in the round. **Sizes:** New Born, [Infant, Child], Adult, Adult L **Head circumference:** Finished hat will have approximately 10% negative ease. Hat will fit approximately a head circumference of Newborn: 35 cm / 13.75" Infant: 43 cm / 17" Child: 51 cm / 20" Adult: 56 cm / 22" Adult Large: 61 cm / 24" **Yarn Requirements:** This hat is designed for 8ply/DK weight yarn. **Gauge:** 22 stitches x 30rounds = 10cm / 4 in, worked in stocking stitch to get gauge, using 8ply/DK weight yarn and 4 mm (US 6) needles, worked in the round, and lightly blocked. **Note:** Gauge is crucial for achieving correct sizing. Please make sure to swatch in the round for accurate gauge. Block your swatch gently before measuring.
