Knit in 4ply / fingering weight yarn, Hiking Hat is stretchy, warm without bulk, and sized to fit everyone from newborns to large adults. Choose from a clean single brim or a folded double brim for extra warmth around the ears. Hiking hat is worked in the round. **Sizes:** New Born, [Infant, Child], Adult, Adult L To fit a head circumference approximate to: Newborn: 35 cm / 13.75" Infant: 43 cm / 17" Child: 51 cm / 20" Adult: 56 cm / 22" Adult Large: 61 cm / 24" **Yarn Requirements:** This hat is designed for 4ply/fingering weight yarn. If knitting with a folded brim, allow for additional yarn as indicated. Brim height varies slightly by size for proportionate fit and style. **Gauge:** 34stitches x 32 rounds = 10cm / 4”, worked in the stitch pattern, using 4ply/fingering weight yarn and 3.5 mm (US 4) needles, worked in the round.
