My Crochet Kitchen: Linguine

This pattern was designed not only to look amazing, but also to help your little chef learn about classic Italian pasta dishes. I wanted to create a way for kids to go beyond simply ‘chopping’ raw veg or stacking a burger – to connect their imaginations with a budding appreciation for flavours, foods and cultures. They’re also extremely satisfying to make, arrange and play with as ‘older chefs’ too! It’s an advanced beginner pattern because although the stitches are quite basic, some techniques are a little more complex. You’ll find a simple ‘recipe’ included in the pattern, listing the quantities of each ingredient required for your meal. The construction method for individual items is listed at the start of each section, and a photo guide at the end will help you visualise this, amongst other techniques used.
