For this wreath I used Paintbox Aran for the hat, nose, wreath cover and sunflowers but any Aran/4 medium weight worsted will work for this part of the pattern. I used Stylecraft special dk for the ladybug. Any dk/3 weight will work for this part of the pattern. Aran White or Yellow (wreath cover) 50g Aran Green ( hat) 80g Aran Yellow ( sunflowers) 70g Aran Brown (sunflowers) 20g Aran Parchment for the nose 15g Dk Red for the ladybug-small amount Dk Black for the lady bug- small amount A small length of white yarn to highlight the eyes on the ladybug Safety eyes- 5mm or 6mm Small amount of toy stuffing for your gnomes nose and ladybug 20cm/8inch polystyrene wreath. If you struggle to find an 8 inch wreath ring you can use a slightly bigger size. You may need to work a few more increases for the hat but I will include instructions for that. **Useful items** Stitch markers Stitch counter Darning needle **Hooks required** 2.5mm 3.5mm This pattern uses US terms and is worked in a spiral so using stitch markers is highly recommended
