Worked in the round, this square blanket is finished with a lovely ribbed border that frames the cloud design beautifully. The combination of these elements creates a cosy blanket that's as pleasing to touch as it is to look at. Made with an aran weight yarn, the blanket works up quickly and is perfect as a baby blanket or lapghan. The blanket involves intarsia crochet as well as front and back post stitches. This is explained in the pattern. It would be suitable for an intermediate level crocheter or a new crocheter looking to develop their skills. The written pattern includes full instructions and pattern notes for making the blanket. It is provided in both UK and US crochet terms. **SIZE** The finished blanket measures 90 cm x 90 cm. **YARN** Hobbii Friends Wool - 100% wool; aran; 100 m (109 yds) / 50 g (1.75 oz) ball: - 9 x 50g balls or around 900m/981yards of the Main Colour (Dark Denim - 81) - 5 x 50g balls or around 500m/545yards of the Contrast Colour (White - 01) **Alternative yarns** You could use any aran yarn in any colours you like.
