Note: Pure Silk is knitted with 2 strands. Construction Cora Top is worked top down. Back and front pieces are identical and have a boat neck. The two pieces are worked separately and until the bottom of the armhole. After the lace edge shorts are worked to shape the neckline. Later, increases are work in each side for the armhole. When back and front pieces are worked until the end of the armhole, additional stitches are cast on between the two pieces and the top is then worked in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up along the armhole and it is finished off with a small rib edge. As a final detail the shoulder is sewn together with a few stitches. Choosing your size Cora Top is intended to have a positive ease of approx. 0-5 cm [0-2”], depending on how loosely fitting you want it to be. It is shown here with a positive ease of 5 cm [2“]. Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the widest part of your upper body). Then look at the measurements given at the beginning of the pattern (these are the finished measurements of the tee). Positive ease is the difference between your personal measurement and the tee's measurement. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm [37”], a size M would provide you with a positive ease of 2 cm [0.75”]. (96 cm – 94 cm = 2 cm) [37.75” - 37” = 4”]. *The length is measured at the center back, incl. the neckline.
