Steek Practice Piece

This is a little piece designed to allow you to practice placing steeks in stranded knitting. It requires stranded knitting techniques using a minimum of two colors. You may use more if you would like to play with color arrangement. You can color code the chart to your liking if you wish. You may use whatever non-superwash wool or wool blend yarn you have on hand and needles appropriate for the yarn you choose. This practice piece was designed for the 2025 Summer Challenge of Stranded Knitting in [Knitting in the Loft ](/groups/knitting-in-the-loft). You can find references for how to prepare and cut the steeks [here.][1] This is simply a practice piece with no real finished object in mind.
