Soft Focus Sweater

This sweater is a blank canvas for your favorite colors. You can create a rainbow of cheerful stripes or combine subtle, earthy tones. It also makes a great stashbusting project! Featuring a relaxed, oversized fit and modified drop sleeves, it’s also easy to pair with almost anything. The sweater is worked seamlessly from top down, shaping the shoulders with short rows. The project begins with upper back. Stitches for each front are then picked up from the cast-on row of the back and worked separately to the given length. The fronts are then joined and worked in one piece until they reach the same length as the back. Front and back are then joined onto one circular needle and the body is worked in the round towards the hem. Stitches for each sleeve are picked up around the armholes and each sleeve cap is shaped with short rows. After that, the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs. The i-cord neckline adds a beautiful finishing touch. You can substitute them with a single strand of DK weight yarn.
