Penelope top

The Penelope top is knitted seamlessly from the top down. It has a lace hem and an i-cord drawstring around the waist. The top is started at the shoulders by knitting the shoulders separately before joining at the neck. The front and back are joined at the underarm after which the body is knitted in the round. The neck and armhole edges are finished with i-cord bind off. The Penelope top is best suited for silk, cotton, viscose or linen blend yarns that have a lot of drape.
