Sugar Pine Top

The Sugar Pine Top is another design in my “Pine” series, influenced by my Pine Needle Sweater It has a crew neck this time, instead of a mock turtleneck, like the sweater. The short sleeves have a slight puff, but there’s a workaround if you don’t want the puff. The style of the top can be changed up as well. You can wear the top loose, like a regular t-shirt, you can add the pull cord and make it tapered as you wish, you can also move the pull cord up and create an A-line. And if the width of the top is the same as your hips, you can easily turn this pattern into a dress! There’s also an option for bottom ribbing as well if you want the bottom to match the sleeves and neck! So wear it as you like!! The sizing is a recommendation, but it doesn’t need to be followed closely. If you prefer a wider neck, make a size bigger. Just follow the instructions with the yoke fit to get a top that suits you perfectly! To make this top, I strongly recommend using Hobbii Frutta, as some cottons might be too stiff for the design, and acrylic yarn might give you a different size and fit.
