Odyssey Mosaic Blanket

We are diving into the world of mosaic crochet. When I started looking for designing this blanket I had to come up with a theme and for me when I think of mosaic my history teachers mind straight away goes to the mosaics in Greece and Italy. I noticed that there are certain designs that always come back in the Greek mosaics so I decided to use those keys as designs in this blanket. I have chosen colours that I have seen in mosaic floors in Greece and Cyprus and I hope you will like my designs. Throughout the blanket we will have some simpler and some more intricate mosaic designs, some designs will be repeated others will be unique, all in all I hope it will be a design which you will look forward to creating. I have included a simple design in the double border, eliminating the need to sew in the ends. The pattern for mosaic crochet is done by charts. The written out instructions are in this pattern too along with a chart detailing which video to watch for each part of the chart and blanket.
