Oscar's Blanket

This pattern is for a simple baby blanket, made for Oscar, born May 2025. It has a simple construction and a clean, modern aesthetic. The coloured stripes are worked in garter stitch, which makes each colour really pop. The finished blanket measures approximately 80cm x 65cm (31inches x 25inches) and the size is easily adjusted by casting on more or less stitches; please note that a bigger blanket will require more yarn. You will need 3.5mm needles with a 100cm cable, or size needed to obtain gauge. The pattern sample uses King Cole Bamboo Cotton DK in the colours cream (x3) for the main colour, and one ball each of Denim, Glacier, Truffle & Honey.
